Guardian of the Ancient Current

Ida Pandita Dukuh Celagi Dhaksa Dharma Kirti

In the quiet breath between temple bells and ocean waves, walks Ida Pandita DukuhCelagi Dhaksa Dharma Kirti—a spiritual guardian whose path is lit by the eternal flame of Bhaerawa Dharma.
Born on September 19th 1967 of the island’s sacred breath and the whisper of its ancestors, he carries the wisdom of the old kingdoms into the heart of the present, weaving courage, devotion, and compassion into every step.

To the world, he is the founder and guide of Yayasan Padukuhan Sri Chandra Bhaerawa—yet his truest title is Sevaka Dharma, the humble servant of the Way. In his hands, the misunderstood name of Bhaerawa is washed clean, revealed not as a shadowed path of fear, but as Ajaran Cinta Kasih—the Teaching of Love. Here, the fiercest strength blooms from gentleness, and the deepest mastery rises from selfless service.

Through the turning of moon and sun, he has led countless souls to the sacred threshold—through pawintenan initiations, pujawali celebrations, and dharma tulagatherings where wisdom flows like holy water. At Pasraman Sri Taman Ksetra in Klungkung, under the watch of the gods and the patient mountains, his voice becomes both prayer and teaching, awakening the remembrance of who we truly are.

Yet his reach flows beyond temples. In quiet prison halls, he sows the seeds of transformation, seeing not inmates but pilgrims on the long road home. In every soul, he sees the same flame—sometimes hidden, never extinguished.

His book, “Bhaerawa adalah Jalanku”—“Bhaerawa is My Path”—is both testimony and map, a beacon for those who seek to turn fear into courage, chaos into harmony, and isolation into the warm embrace of community.

To meet Ida Dukuh Celagi is to stand before a river of ancient light—one that carries the memory of the mountains, the scent of incense, the chant of the seas. And in that presence, the heart remembers: true power is love in action, and true wisdom is service without end.
